And my word this one was a bit special.

Riotville LIVE 2019. Rounds three and four.

After lunch Greg from the EEFL forum and I threw down.

Once again I would be facing Dwarves!

Riotville LIVE 2019. Round two Ogres Vs Dwarves

With the dust barely settled from round one I took the field against Sedge and his Dwarves.

Round one of Riotville LIVE 2019 would see me take on Glen who had traveled over from Wales to take part!

Can't lie I was really glad he did as his army looked incredible.

Round four would see the Chaos allies turn on each other in an effort to appease the gods of chaos! . . .

Lunch would see all the Generals of Riotville LIVE!! seated around a long table in a side room which quickly began to resemble a scene from 'Game of thrones' (without the shagging and incest!!) as each general began their mind games and politicking for the rounds ahead.

Goodness knows how many under the table deals and pacts were agreed during that time?

Riotville LIVE 2018!! Round two.

With the dust barely settled and blood wiped from blades, challenges were issued for round two.

So round one kicked off after a hearty breakfast in the Redhouse restaurant. We then bundled upstairs to kick lumps out of each other.

My first opponent would be Shaggy of 'Shaggy Wargaming fame' and his Dwarves.

1800 point army for Riotville finished?????

So 24 days ago my 1800 points of Chaos Warriors for Riotville LIVE 2018 looked like this. . . . .

I only needed to paint 23 Chaos warriors, 2 Gorebeast chariots, 5 Chaos Knights, a BSB, a Sorceror, 10 Chaos hounds and two Spawn!!!!!

So how did I do?

Best laid plans of mice and men . . . . and all that!

So I have had to take a long hard look at the Beastmen army and admit to myself I am NEVER going to get it finished in time for Riotville LIVE! 2018.

There is just too many details and variety of tones to get done in 30 days!

With that in mind I visited Dark sphere today and bought this lot. . . . .

30 days and the clock is running!!

With round two over the protagonists called a cease fire and bundled downstairs for dinner. The usual small talk of little soldiers and a smattering of discussion about current events followed before we all adjourned back upstairs to the 'War room' for the deciding round 3.

With the dust bearly settled from the first round of carnage the Generals of Riotville LIVE!! issued their challenges for the next round. . . . . . 

I faced off against Jesus George and his Dwarven gunline.

After a mental last week before the half term I have finally managed to sit down and do a (sort of) write up for Riotville LIVE!!

So finally got (most) of my 1850 points of Ogres painted up for Riotville LIVE tomorrow!

The Gnobblar have got the shitty end of the stick and will not be painted for tomorrow meaning all painted miniatures will have hatred against them.

Also had to cheat and Army painter spary and ink wash another Standard bearer as there was no way I would get the original painted up to the standard I wanted.

It is a testament to the GW figures that they look the part considering the crudeness of the techniques I used.

None of these count towards the painted total for this year as I will go back and touch these up at some point.
