Here is a more organised version of round one
On table one Dwarves took on Orks.
The Orks used their 'cunninz' and made sure the building stayed between them and the organ gun.
But what few opening there were were exploited by the Dwarves to full effect.
As the Orks cleared the building they were gunned down in their droves.
A mistake by the Ork Boss and the 'hand of mork' left the Orks too open as they made their final charge and the Dwarves made them pay deary!
The ragged remains lacked the punch to cripple the dwarves when they finally made contact.
On table two is was Empire Vs Dark Elves.
Two gorgeous looking armies take to the field. It will be interesting to see how many are left standing at the end.
The action is fast and furious and when I return to the table there is very little left standing.
I suspect the only reason the Steam tank was left standing was because it kept misfiring and failed to get into action 😜
As I suspected, very little was left at the end.
On table three it was Dwarves Vs Lizard men.
The Lizards start their steady advance into volley after volley of shot!
The flying frog has a giant target on it's back.
Slowly the armies advance.
. . . . . .wait for it . . . .
. . . . . . a bit longer . . . . . .
On table 4 Nurgle contested with Nurgle
This was always going to be an uphill swim for the Warriors of chaos!
The Chaos Knights steam in.
But fail to make an impact.
In the magic phase another unit of Plague bearers appear and seal the Warriors of Chaos fate.
Table 5 would see Ogres take on Orks.
This was another gorgeous looking game!
The Ork Boss eyes up the Ogres. . . . .
. . . . . before crashing in!
The Slaughter Master transforms into a Dragon using the Lore of Beasts!
The Big UN's and the Ogre Bus race to make contact.
The Wyvern and Dragon go hammer and thongs!
The Ogres pull the legs off the giant spider.
And that concludes round one.
Four more rounds to come!!
