I appear to be on a bit of a roll this half term with another complete set of miniatures finished up.

This time it is the 'Storm of Sigmar' box set I bought a couple of weeks ago.

Warhammer Underworlds Shadespire, Khornite Warband, Garrek's Reavers

Had these finished since Sunday but have been waiting ages for a decent stint of sunlight to take some pictures.

Unfortunately it has remained cloudy and grey in London so I have bitten the bullet and tried to take some photos today.

Here they are after the break. . .

SAGA. The battle of the ford!

This Thursday saw Macca and I continue our SAGA campaign.

With Macca winning the first game (scenario one), I needed to force the crossing of a river.

5 Reasons the Age of Sigmar, 'Storm of Sigmar' boxset is great!

It's no secret that I am super hyped about 'Shadespire' being released on the 21st of October.

With this is mind I dropped into a GW store Saturday to place and pay for my pre-order.

While there two things happened; one I stopped worrying about the future of our hobby as the place was RAMMED with kids AND two I spotted this on the shelf. . . .

Blood in the Badlands; secret sparring session.

Not being quite ready to walk away from the Badlands yet I have decided to blog the secret sparring session Lee and I had before the final storming of the Fastness.

Blood in the Badlands. Week 16. The storming of the flying fastness!

Standing upon the Arcane Fulcrum, the Butcher Bloodsky had an unprecedented view of the battle field below him.

Four great armies were arrayed beneath him.

The Fey Folk in their glittering armour stood upon the walls of the occupied flying fastness.

Across the field a mass of green allies(?) bellowed into the morning mist, their challenge resounding across the vista.

To his left the sodden Skaven shivered in the morning chill; or was that fear from having to run the gauntlet to gain the flying fastness?

Directly below him, the sweating mass of his Guthook tribe had mustered, their greedy eyes scanning the feast of flesh before them.

The Butcher Bloodsky looked up and scanned the sky above him. He studied the alignment of the slowly dwindling stars, met the eye of Captain Guthook and nodded his head in affirmation.

The stars were aligned, the portents from the heavens were good, the final battle could begin!!

Falling back into old habits! Warmachine

Sunday just gone was supposed to be the conclusion of the epic 'Blood in the Badlands' campaign we have been playing through. . . . . .

Then Phil had some family obligations and Lano woke up Sunday morning to find a naked dude in his Girlfriend's bathtub covered in (his own) puke and poo!!

For the reasons above we decided to postpone the final game (DRATS!!!!!. . . . Lano has no idea how much it cost me to bribe that fella to crap himself in the tub!!!!!).

It turned out Lee and I ended up having a game of Warmachine.

After the cut are some action shots. . . . . . . .
