This time something a bit more substantial.

So I decided the Dwarves would have numerous outpost or staging posts dotted throughout the Badlands and especially along the main river towards Barak Var.
Trouble was this would mean I would have to built one!

Initially I was really struggling with how I would embed it in the rock and then Lee put me on to an old Skool technique of painting up tree bark to look like rock.
It worked a treat!!
I am really pleased with how it has turned out considering it is made up of an old MDF sheet, bark found in the forest, some Wills scenic's off cuts, an old Crossbows and Catapults game tower, a piece of an old castle I found at a bootsale, a dehydrated mash container, a door from the GW 'mines of Moria' kit and the keystone from a Scibor terrain piece donated by my brother.
Grand total . . . . Sod all!
