It's time to . . . .

So the miniatures have started pouring in for my Beastman army for Riotville LIVE! 2018 and despite the slow start to the year hobby wise it is time to put my nose to the grind stone!

First up is my 'Wild West' saloon from TT scenic which has been re-finished as it just looked pants next to the 4ground bits!

Ended up adding some 'texture' via some coffee stirrers and some paint work.

Also started to make a dent into my Ungors and Minotaurs.

Only one finished so far but at least the rest are based and primed.

Also got some barriers finished up for the 'Shadow wars' day Shaggy and I have planned in the half  term.

Nothing like the quantity Shaggy has produced but 'every little helps'!

With Shaggy blitzing out the terrain I decided to have a crack at producing some scratch built terrain.

The bits for these were the off cuts from when we had the new central heating put in a while back. The original plan was to create some 'scrap piles' for Gorkamorka but this is as good a reason as any to finish them off.

Tried something new and these were mostly painted with sponges!

For the first time this year lets do the numbers;

Miniatures painted / sold this year = 10

Miniatures bought 34

277 miniatures to go

    1. Thanks man. Considering all the Necromunda terrain was painted using sponges I am really impressed with how they turned out.

    1. If shadow wars plays any thing like mordheim the more terrain the better other wise we will end up bunkering down and needing to roll 6's to hit after the second turn!

  5. Beastmen are cool sculpts. Not a fan of the minotaurs tho, just too much to them i think.

    1. I have always preferred the beastman aesthetic over that of the Ogres so I am looking forward to getting stuck into these. The Necromunda / shadow wars board should look the business when finished.
