June update pt.1

After the photo dump of the Beastman army a slightly more scatter gun post.

More after the cut.

First up I have painted or sold on over 200 miniatures already this year!

To celebrate this mile stone I delved into the leadpile and started to dig out some of my oldest unpainted miniatures.

First up this Mordheim Witch Hunter.

I wanted to paint him like a Vampire . . . . Almost like he is devolving into the thing he hates the most.

Shame Nemo had to get it!

A super fun paint!!!!

Next I pulled out this lovely Hasslefree Dwarf. Not an old miniature but he had to be painted!

As a Homage to oldhammer I painted him to replicate the original Wayne England Imperial Dwarves.

Another lovely miniature.

Then I went REALLY old school and painted this pre-slotta, lobotomised Slann, human slave.

I suspect this is a recast but nice to paint.

Hilarious looking at the scale creep when placing him next to a modern day Primaris Space Marine.

Then I painted this Scarlok Ranger, Regiment of Renown Woodelf.

A beautiful Jes Goodwin sculpt.

That's three done.

Been a bit more adventurous with my cycling and Alister took me out for a ride, riding some single track in Epping forest.

Great fun!

Below is the reason I cracked the 200 miniature mark already this year.

25 done and another 15 to go.

I want to be able to field 5 minimum units of Gnobblers in the future.

Next I painted this Mithril Miniatures Legolas miniatures.

Like all these old skool miniatures there is no denying it's charm.

The kids and I had another cut throat game of Dungeon Mayhem.

You will notice the chair in the top right corner is empty. . . . .This is because my daughter had stormed off 😏

My old skool purge continued with this GW Judge Dredd miniature.

He may be the law but he certainly has janky proportions!

It looks like someone has stolen his Lawmaster Bike from right out under him 😝

That said I was transported straight back to being a 10 year old kid while painting him.

Last up is this 'political officer' by Hammerhead miniatures. I have no idea how this ended in my leadpile but I'm glad it did.

So now some number crunching.

Miniatures bought this year 8

Miniatures Painted / sold this year 205

Miniatures left 283

Still a lot of minis left in the cupboard of grey shame but the way things are going I might get under the 200 miniatures mark by the end of the year.
