Finally . . . Some finished miniatures
Its only taken 3 months but I have finally managed to finish off some mininatures!!!
First up is the Sorceror for my Chaos army for our summer offensive.
In the close up the brush strokes look a little heavy but considering this is the first miniature I have managed to finish this year it will do.
Hopefully my standards will rise as I get more painting in?
I decided to finish off the Chaos Knights off first as they looked like the most work.
There was A TON of edge highlighting to do to make these guys pop.
Hoped to add some varitey to the monotone metals through the use of palid tones for the flayed skins and added bone elements.
Ended up with using a fairly dull tone of bronze. It makes the Chaos Knights look 'heavy' and brutal. I am 50 / 50 if I like it or not but will probably continue to use it on the 'rank and file' troops.
The standard bearer got a very simple banner. This may get a re-paint in the future . . . . maybe.
Here they are all ranked up and ready to charge.
To be honest I happy just to get an entire unit ticked off and done. With the light improving I will hopefully be able to get stuck into my Chaos army and get it finished so I can move on to other projects.
