6am kit bash

Eyes pinged open at 6am this morning (I guess my brain thought it was Monday!).

Rather then lay there staring at the ceiling until the kids woke up I snuck into the office.

Within 20 minutes it looked like this. . . . . .

An absolute shambles or a hive of creative verve. . . . You decide.

The good news is I did manage to work out my Inquisimunda warband and its weaponry.

I also shifted through the lead mountain and tried to shoe horn in some of these figures. . . .

I'm not sure if the camera is blurry or that was how I saw things at 7am!

My favourite figure by far is this little fella. . . . .

He's a combination of a Gnoblar body and some left overs from the Titan forge Croc riders.

Both me and the kids have fell in love with him. Could be I have found the 200th miniature of the year!

Thankfully the kids slept in and by 8am as they started to stir I was finishing up.

The positive start to the day must have really put the wind in my sails as I have done my lesson planning and printed out all my resources for the week!!!!

I might actually get some painting in this week?

    1. Ah . . . . er . . . . . oh . . . . . sod it! I did not realise you followed my blog.

I fell in love with your Mutie mini's when I saw it on your blog and even more so when I saw them at BOYL.

All I can say is imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

In my defence when I do paint it and blog it the post was going to be called 'Blatant rip off of someone else's far superior effort!!!!!

      Busted!!!!!!

    1. cheers.

I think the thing which appealed the most to me and the Heretic was the diversity and character you could fit into ten characters.

Problem is the way my painting output has dropped recently could mean they will be played with unpainted.

  5. I might actually have mine done...
The only one that is not ready for painting is in the goo stripping, lord knows what they painted it with, but it's not coming off!

I was trying to strip some early minis from the pre acrylic days and they were a bloody nightmare!.

  6. It was more like crown emulsion!
I left it in the goo for 48 hours so it could think about what it was doing, that seemed to do the trick, it's cleaned up, converted and based, ready for spray.
