With the new job my painting output has ground to a halt.
The good news is with the extra readies in my pocket I have been able to pay out to have Lano paint up some figures for me.
First up are my Titanforge Ogres, which were a lovely surprise from my better half.
Lano is a master of the organic (probably due to painting up over 10,000 points of Tyranids and God knows how much Warmahordes Legion stuff!).
I think the Crocs look the absolute business and the crab claw on one of the croc riders is something I would NEVER be able to pull off.
It's interesting to see another painters take on the choice of colours and techniques and I wonder if it will influence my painting of some of the other units as they are very different to the Ogre I have already painted up.
Lano is currently (already!) finishing up my Warmachine Steelhead Halberdiers and I can't wait to see how they end up.
Now the numbers. . . .
Miniatures painted / sold this year = 189
Miniatures bought this year =40
Miniatures bought this year =40
Wow! They all look amazing!
ReplyDeleteYer, the guy can paint!
DeleteWe often call our battles Warmaporn on account of the photos.
Those are absolutely stunning, can you transfer the Ogres from the waterline crocs to the land based ones or are they fixed?
ReplyDeleteCannot take any credit other then paying for them.
DeleteThe saddle and legs are one complete unit so unfortunately they are fixed.
Very nice dude!
ReplyDeleteI am very lucky.
DeleteMy wife bought them, my friend painted them and I get to display them!
Smashing stuff Riot, you're a lucky fella :-)
ReplyDeleteAt times like this I really, really am.
DeleteExcellent job, they look very impressive!
ReplyDeleteLano has really done a great job.
DeleteI think my Titan forge Ironguts might have to be next.
