Warhammer Quest Silver tower. Painted Gaunt Summoner and Chaos Familiars

So here is another collider scope of colour thanks to the Gaunt Summoner of Tzeentch and his Chaos Familiars from the Warhammer Quest silver tower box set !

Another gorgeous sculpt!! These miniatures really raise the bar!

And the cherry on the cake, the Chaos Familiars.

Blot

As an older gamer these really hark back to the RoC days and the original Jes Goodwin inspired stuff!!

LOVE THESE!!!!!!!!

Pug

And the icing on the cake? . . . . .You get two of each!

and last but by no means least is my absolute favourate miniature out of the lot . . . . . . .

Slop

How can you get more Mordheimy then a walking fish?!?

I have to be honest it was love at first sight!

This little fella is going to end up in the background of EVERY game of Mordheim I play from now on. He just has to!

Finally here is the gang together . . .just because!

Sorry mate but the miniatures are pure click bait!

    4. by far by far my favourite miniature to paint out that box set.

But to be honest I couldn't tell you how I painted that since I don't remember... Pretty sure it was 6am and my third can of relentless.

    5. It was about 6am. I think you were shaking so much from the caffine drinks I just held the miniature in front of you and your shaking hands painted the miniature.

Even half asleep you do a great job!

    1. I absolutely adore the familiars!

The Summoner reminds me a bit of the monster in 'Pans labyrinth' which is no bad thing.

    1. GW have really raised the bar with this lot.

Apparently the 'Deathwatch Overkill' set was just as nice

  4. Beautifully done, man! I'm trying desperately to avoid buying it (no local players or real cross-use to the Heresy), but the models are just so cooooool!

    Good stuff!

    1. Thats a shame as they are well worth the effort.

I have already shoe horned the miniatures into two 'Dragon Rampant' forces and I now have the battle scrolls to play AoS with the Tzeentch miniatures.
They are just too good to waste!

  5. I have a quick question about the contents in the box. It says that you should have 40 exploration cards. In the pack it has the gryph hound card but once I discount that I only have 39 exploration cards in total? Just checking that's the same with you as I may have to contact GW...

    1. Yes mate same as me.

39 cards plus the Gryph card = 40 cards.

We are playing quest on the 16th of June at the Biscuit. You going to make it?
